Pre-session Events
Zhang Bo and He Zhen are invited to a meeting for the Kuomintang. They meet Sun Yat-sen. Declares that the Kuomintang and the Communists are joining forces. Zhou Enlai talks at the meeting and gives a speech.
Some in the group are uneasy about the union. Some businessmen are also unhappy about the union. Some feel its a natural alliance.
Zhou is invited to a meeting to all major leaders, including Du Yuesheng and Zhang Renkui. They talk about a move of business to the French concession due to the ban of opium in international settlement.
Theres a non-chinese 50s woman with heavy makeup Adriana Bianca, she is there to provide the investment to provide all the opium. She talks to zhou and says that she might be there at the sponsorship/next elysium.
Zhou continues the investigation, leads to an opium den, it is shutdown.
- Theres a survivor being taken care of by a nun. Further investigation found out that someone came and carted all the bodies away after the incident
- Luo Jingsen owns the place and lives in a den near a paper lantern factory. We find him surrounded by his thugs, 5 of us approach him. Fille Leads the conversational intrigue. Luo claims that he was just following orders, using the opium, burning the place down and carrying bodies away. Claims the moon was full at night and that she was operating for ‘Xu’ or Xu Wen Jie. He is disgruntled, claims a japanese woman came to speak to him before us. Moi Yan then uses powers on him and finds out she is a modern dressed black haired woman. speaks in mandarin, laughs easily. Asks very direct questions and asked 2 weeks after the fire. She apparently came in and beat up a few thugs to get the answers.
Liang Yiating buys Ciro and Moi Yan buys a 10% stake in it. Lian yiating offers to give someone (moi yan knows, Fille) a job as a night madam.

The Next Elysium
Another Camarilla (Veil Alliance) meeting happens at Liang Yiating’s Hosting.
Zhao Li Ling (the seneschal) congratulates the upcoming neonates, however warns them that they have made a few enemies.
Fille asks Zhao Li Ling about the disappearance of the prince, but was rebuked. Zhao li ling claims that the prince isnt missing to begin with and has told that them she knows all that is discovered. She claims they will all know at the end of the day when Li Xuan briefs everyone.
The players decide to form a coterie in zha bei
Zhou Haoran talks to Adriana Bianca, and learns Huang Jinrong works for her.
Zhang Bo talks to her sire and learns that Farid joined the Temple of Tao Wu. They talk about politics and suggests she talk to Iron Claw. Tells Iron Claw and the Prince was friends and the veil alliance and night front split when they quarreled. A story is told about Iron Claw and that he wants new rulers to back. where the Prince wanted to back the ming dynasty.
He Zhen talks to Hong Yee, learns that they is distrustful of Farid and the Temple of Tao Wu. And suggests He Zhen infiltrate it.
Fille talks to Hong Yee, Claims to know Iron Claw , Prince , Old Crow go back centuries and worked together for a while before the current political situation. Fille tells about the events in the old city (opium dens). Hong yee claims to know of the japanese woman who investigated, Shimuzu Aya, childe of Takahashi Renjiro. Wants Fille to spy on Zhou Haoran and Farid.
Moi Yan talks to Liang Yiating, learns Adriana Bianca is the banker of the Camarilla (Veil Alliance) and arrived with marco polo. Learns Adriana Bianca isnt interested in power besides being one of the oldest. Learns the racetracks are owned by Sophia Antonov and she is diversified.
Lixuan’s arrival
Zhao Li Ling introduces Li Xuan and speaks. He says that the opium was corrupted by 2 powerful rituals one by the prince another by a foreign mage, He Wen Fang.
We find out the mage is here for about 10 years and has a domain in shanghai.
