Zhou Haoran consults Farid regarding this and he says that this magic is the domain of spirits. Zhou Haoran finds the bloodstone tracking pinging in the old city. We head to a room where she was apparently staying and find she was reading local stories and ghost stories. We chase the children and while pushing through the crowd some of them attack. We notice at the end someone seemingly controling them. We press forward, but as Yao Li was mesmerising one of them, he slits his own throat, and the mind control breaks.
We find Lian Na in a painting shop and find her reading at a table with many scrolls. She talks about ‘smelling the prince’ on Zhou Haoran, and mentions of ‘the coterie that abandoned her’. At the end of it she tells us that she will be coming for all of us, then smashes a lantern over the scrolls sending us into a terror frenzy. We all depart.
Zhou Haoran talks to Iron Claw about the death of the Prince. He tells him of the prince and how he died. He tells Iron Claw that he was told of the prince’s last wish and that he is assigned to finish off the mage that survived. He wants help from Jiang Yi about intel on the japanese.
He also asks about the the story of the prince and the priestess. He tells us of that the prince and Wu Lian Hua sealed a 1000-year old fox spirit that enjoys tormenting its victims. Its purpose is that it claims that kindred are unnatural to the natural order and seeks us destroyed.
Zhou Haoran seeks the Zhao Li Ling to tell her of the fox spirit danger and will consult lixuan and the primogen counsel.
