Zhou Haoran tries to meet with Du Yuesheng but was not able to draw blood. He has a monkey on his shoulders whisper, he is angry that his side of the gang isnt doing anything to help and that he is watching. He then goes to find Adriana Bianca and is told that she is angry/disappointed about Pockmarked Huang. Zhou goes to his side of the gang and decides to proceed with mortgaging for the money.

Moi Yan asks her directly ‘did you do this to helena’, she says know. Moi yan discerns that she is lying. They talk openly about it and she claims that its just business, what she did in the banning of opium was unwelcomed. Moi Yan talks to the seller of the vase and finds out that Major Sheng, aide to the warlord Lu Yong Xiang. bought the vase. We manage to find out the guarded compound. and Fille and Zhou Haoran break in with a fake vase. We stole it and but Zhou Haoran was spotted and almost shot to death.
The vase was transcribed and it talks about the dominion of the soul and the restoration of memories.
