Fille talks to Lian Na. And she has a small sliver of humanity left. She was fed on a lot of blood and is slightly frenzied. We decided to stake her and bring her back to the haven. Zhou Haoran stays behind to scour for secrets and finds nothing.
Fille and Yao Li return to the haven and the creepy old spirit told us ‘Men came, i told them to go away’. We find a man in black dead in the alleyway, probably died of fright. They bring her down to the shrine.
Zhou Haoran goes to talk to Farid and asks about whether he is truly trying to be a taowu priest or is he trying to infiltrate the organisation. Farid says that he is trying to do both. We also learn that Wang Yue is vying for the position of taowu priest. Farid advises that those close to being a wight will need to return back like coming back from an addiction. Slowly starving them and feeding them periodically. And that even if they come back they might not have the humanity left to stay within kindred society. He claims that he has only seen one that returned from such a state and even then he was locked up in a prison. He says that he would turn her over to the Sheriff. He offers to settle Lian Na’s situation, implying that he will execute her. He also alludes to the banu haqim rites of diablerie and that he has done it before and could advise Zhou Haoran on the procedure
Fille goes to talk to Chen Wei and tells him of the situation. He is deeply concerned about the masquarade breaches of the Japanese and that it is unthinkable for Takahashi Renjiro to do something like this to kindred. Chen Wei asks to be brought to Lian Na, and is offended as to the situation. He offers to take Lian Na to safety and find out how to bring evidence back to the Camarilla (Veil Alliance). He warns the coterie that this attack was a message and that we need to be careful. He departs to make arrangements, angry of this scenario.
Fille goes and consults Jacques Delacroix, they talk to a happy vampire who is drinking his days away. Happy with the success of the opium consolidation in the french concession along with Madam Meixiu Chanel. He talks about the possible troubles coming where the missing prince might invoke a vote for a new prince and that the Madam might assume control. Fille asks about whether Jacques Delacroix is ok with her learning from Li Xuan and that he thinks that its fine to make allies when the troubles hits. Fille also asks whether is it fine to learn from the Nosferatu (暗影会 - Àn Yǐng Huì) about animalism, he is intrigued about it and is ok with it. She also asks about Wu Lian Hua and he thinks that she would have better success finding a mentor in the other men.

Zhou Haoran spends 2 dots into the police station, captain Fille spends 1 into Lien
Zhou Haoran visits Jiang Yi to ask about hongkee and his fights with the other kindred. Finds out theres only Jiang Yi, Shimuzu Aya and Takahashi Renjiro in hongkee. He asks Jiang Yi about the extent of their domain, the ghouls being controlled and businesses so that he might be able to hit them should war happen. Jiang Yi tells haoran to come back tomorrow and he will tell him.
Yao Li and Fille finds within the domain that there are people possibly spying on them. Yao Li’s premonition gives her a vision of a street in zhabei on fire. Fille approaches a rickshaw driver that is not from around here and discern that he is lying of his civil intentions. She asks for a ferry and is inevitably taken to Takahashi Renjiro who apparently send rickshaws to her inconspicuously.
Fille is brought to a geisha house and talks to Takahashi Renjiro. He says that there is no bad blood between the coterie and him and that he had no knowledge of any involvement of this at all. He claims that he does not control the japanese navy when told about the presence of the possibility of a japanese navy footwear. When told of what happened to Lian Na he claims that this is regrettable and He claims that we failed Lian Na and we and Chen Wei have failed to protect her. He continues to deny any involvement with japanese navy and military.
He says that whomever did this was sending a message and asked Fille whether she knows what the message is. She says that they were possible pawns of someone else and we needed to find out what the message is. And that we should choose the correct side.
He claims that he will investigate whom did this. and let fille know what he finds out.
He leaves the the meeting with the message ‘sometimes discipline is necessary’
Next night we find a bouquet of flowers left on the door. with a placard. ‘The flowers that bloom too brightly are cut first, but pruned branches may yet share the same garden with other flowers.’
