Downtime Zhou Haoran is trying to find a image or visual of the Prince so that he can use blood sorcery to find him. He consults Iron Claw and pleads for help on the grounds of stability. Iron claw tells him that he will get back to him.
He Zhen goes and finds a black market chemist and gains soporifics and toxins.
Lian Na’s meets a woman Wu Lian Hua who claims to know her, however Lian Na shys away. She is is disappointed and angry that Chen Wei turned Lian Na into a kindred, she says she knew her ancestors and was close to them.
Chen Wei tells Lian Na that her lineage is targeted by a fellow kindred called Adriana Bianca and that she has a feud with Wu Lian Hua. And that she was embraced to prevent her from hurting Wu Lian Hua by way of hurting her.
Chen Wei decided the best way forward was to induct Lian Na into the kindred life by having her join the zhabei coterie. In which he is indebted to the coterie (except zhou haoran who owes him). The coterie accepts and Lian Na joins and the coterie tells her of the things happening in zhabei.
Chen wei is asked about the creepy old man and laughs, claiming that its a entity that is born out of great grief and trauma and that its been a long time since he saw one

The coterie decide to visit the temple, they find Wang Yue, Wong Ka Ming, Samuel Caldwell, Helena Smith, Farid

Learning that he is from yunan and that the original sect is in peking and the ‘master’ is there. He says ‘if you want to lead, you must be close to those that lead’. And that they seek to counsel those that lead.
